If the land sits on County Road 2, Northumberland County may also ask for an entrance or setback permit. We will tell you that up front.

Village, County Road 2, or further in Alnwick/Haldimand — does that change the file?
The lot changes the drawings. Grade, setbacks, and neighbours are not the same in the village as they are on a rural acre. If you own the land in this township, we walk it. One permit desk. We will tell you if it is a Farwes house.
I could buy in a new-home community instead. Why talk to you?
Those streets sell a floor plan on their lot. If you already own the land, you do not need that. Farwes designs the house for your lot. See custom homes we have already built, then decide.
What if my lot is in Cobourg, Brighton, or further?
Cobourg is a different municipality. The shop stays in Cobourg. Open the page for your land: Cobourg, Port Hope, Brighton, Northumberland, Bowmanville, Clarington, Durham Region, Oshawa, or the Kawartha Lakes. If it is too far, we will say so.
Who do I deal with once we start?
One project manager. Design, Township of Alnwick/Haldimand permits, and construction stay in one file. That is the whole point of design-build. The sequence is on our process.
